Tyler Gold Run
Launched in 2015, Tyler Gold Run combines a chip timed 5K and 10K for the serious runner with a family-friendly fun run, routed through the historic brick streets of Tyler's Azalea District.
It starts with AWARENESS. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the ribbon color is GOLD. This special annual event honors our HERO families and is on the Downtown Square of Tyler. Help us GO GOLD by adding businesses and individuals to our team.
National Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast
February 18 is National Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. It's a day set aside to honor Childhood Cancer Heroes, because when treatment makes you feel like crud, sometimes ice cream is the only thing that sounds good.

Gold Network of East Texas was founded by families who have walked the journey of Childhood Cancer. No one should have to face it alone. East Texas lacks facilities for our children, but there are more of us out here than we realize. Let's CONNECT! Our quarterly support group meets for a meal and time to visit with other childhood cancer families in various stages of the journey.
