Before my son was diagnosed, I knew nothing of childhood cancer. Then I became a cancer mom. We became a cancer family. Forever.
In the hospital, you learn to live a different kind of life. You learn the lingo. You start your day with bad coffee and "numbers." You see and do things you never dreamed would become a part of your "new normal." Having other families who understand the complex ups and downs of this journey can make all the difference.
CONNECT is a place for families of cancer kids to share openly and freely with other families who "get it." We have a private Facebook group and have scheduled meetings to visit face to face. WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!
We are here to help!
